The Queensland Girls Primary Independent Schools Andrews Cup Association acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we gather, learn, compete, and grow across Southeast Queensland. We respectfully recognise the Giabal, Jarowair, and Jagera peoples of the Toowoomba region; the Jagera people of Ipswich and southern Brisbane; the Turrbal people of northern Brisbane; and the Yugambeh people of the Gold Coast as the First Nations custodians of these lands. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and honour the rich cultural heritage and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to our communities and to sport. Andrews Cup celebrates the role of sport in building connection, fostering respect, and promoting reconciliation for current and future generations.
