Member Schools

The Andrews Cup Association brings together ten leading independent schools — Clayfield College, Fairholme College, Ipswich Junior Grammar School, Moreton Bay College, Somerville House, St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School, St Hilda’s School, St Margaret’s Anglican Girls’ School, The Glennie School, and Toowoomba Anglican School — united by a shared passion for girls’ sport.

Each school offers a full and diverse primary sporting program, giving every student the chance to explore, participate, and excel. Through the Andrews Cup, these schools enjoy the richness of interschool competition, where friendly rivalry meets genuine camaraderie.

Our collective focus is on engagement and participation, while also providing opportunities for students to challenge themselves, pursue excellence, and compete at a high level. Together, we create a sporting association of excellence and depth — where every event is an opportunity to inspire, connect, and champion the value of sport for girls.

About us

The Queensland Girls Primary Independent Schools Andrews Cup Association is a leading sporting body dedicated to championing girls in sport. Representing ten independent member schools across Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, and Toowoomba, we provide primary-aged girls with the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of sports at the highest standard.

Our Association operates under an official constitution, with clear guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure fairness, safety, and integrity across all events. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, guided by best-practice standards and the Child Safe Organisation framework.

Through the Andrews Cup program, students experience the excitement of interschool competition, the challenge of striving for personal bests, and the camaraderie of shared achievement. Together, we foster participation, skill development, and resilience — helping girls to grow as athletes, teammates, and confident young leaders.
