This competition is held over one day in March, currently at the Sleeman Centre. This is a compulsory sport for Andrews Cup Schools and all schools will participate every year.

PARKING There is plenty of free parking within the public areas of this venue. Please abide by all directions of the Sleeman Centre staff.
ELIGIBILITY
DIVISIONS
Where divisions occur in an event, a competitor shall not be permitted to enter in more than one division. Hence a swimmer cannot:
- Compete in the 25m and the 50m age event in the same stroke with the exception being the Open Individual Medley, Open 100m Freestyle and the Springfield Cup
- Compete in two freestyle relays – the Springfield Cup is excluded from this regulation
- Compete in more than one medley relay with the exception of the Open Medley Relay and an Age Division Medley Relay
Age Groups shall be:
Open
12 years & over
11 years
10 years
9 years
8 years & under
A competitor may compete in an unlimited number of events in their age group
Medley Relays will be swum in the order of backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle.
Individual Medley races will be swum in the order of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.
A place shall be awarded to every competitor. Points – 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
All events will contribute to the overall school total except for the Springfield Cup Open Relay which is not for points
Lane order is determined on a rotational basis of 3 lanes forwards each year. For example – lane 0 becomes lane 3; lane 1 becomes lane 4 etc. Half the schools will be rotated through the Eastern side rotation (Lanes 0 – 4) and the other half of schools through the Western side rotation (Lanes 5 – 9). Seating for schools will be allocated as per the school rotation and align with lanes for eastern and western side of pool. Lane order and school seating area will be released with Swimming Information each year at the first meeting.
CAPS
It is compulsory for all swimmers to wear school swim caps and swimwear in line with school colours and uniform.
SPECTATORS
All spectators are required to sign in before entering the venue and appropriate etiquette is required at all times. Please refer to the Policies on this site for more information.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Please follow our Photography statement in regards to permissible photography. An official Andrews Cup Association photographer will be permitted access to the Pool Deck at any time and will wear an orange bib for identification purposes.
NO PETS
Pets are not permitted at Andrews Cup events. Thank you for your support with this.
