The Queensland Girls Primary Independent Schools Andrews Cup Association is committed to the safety, welfare and wellbeing of students participating in the annual sporting events that it arranges on behalf of its Member Schools.
This commitment includes the provision of a safe and supportive environment for all students and requires all member schools’ staff members, coaches, volunteers, external providers, and visitors to: model and encourage behaviour that upholds the dignity and protection of students from harm; and respond to allegations of student harm resulting from the conduct or actions of any person.
In support of this commitment, The QGPISACA is dedicated to its Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy, and associated policies, procedures and training in place to effectively address the safety and wellbeing of students at our events. These policies work in conjunction with those in practice at its ten Member Schools.
