2017 SUE PAVISH ATHLETICS TROPHY

In 2017 the inaugural Sue Pavish Athletics Trophy was introduced for the winners of the Open 4 x 100m Circular Relay. Ms Pavish is currently the Director of Sport at Moreton Bay College and achieved wonderful results in her athletics career.

Sue Pavish is a very well respected member in both the Andrews Cup and QGSSSA communities and has dedicated over 20 years promoting and endorsing girls’ sport in Brisbane. She has achieved many milestones in the sport of athletics including breaking the QGSSSA 100m record in 1974 which still remains today and representing New Zealand at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games in the 100m & 200m events. In 1986 Sue was also a member of the 4 x 200m relay team that broke a world record. Her dedication and achievements in athletics, along with her passion to coach is to be commended.
